Gosel show Kennels came into being in 1991. We were originally a Cairn Terrier Kennel under the Maencairn affix. With the advent of Tonantron Moonlight Sonata at Gosel (Lucy) in 1994 we slowly but surely reduced our Cairns as the Lakelands increased. We no longer have any Cairns since our last two house pets died aged 19 and 17 years. Barbara and Philip Greenway were instrumental in us finding Lucy, and helping us over the years with much appreciated advice. The world of dogs lost one of its experts and all round character when Barara passed away.To date we have bred four UK Champions, 2 American Champions and a number have gained their championship on mainland Europe . These have been made-up by others. Our current male Gosel Slight of Hand has two Reserve Challenge Certificates including Crufts 2006.

Our other breed is the Wire Fox Terrier. Wyndam Spring Song (Tessa) came to us following a discussion with Val and Herbert Atkinson over the breakfast table in Lancashire . This breed also gives us great enjoyment and we thank Val and the sadly departed Herbert for sending us on our way. We have taken 1 st prizes at Championship Shows with our Wires.
